Delete your Spendly account

Applies to the Spendly Android and iOS app published by Vidyant

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Spendly and tap the settings icon at the top right of the Diary screen.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in with Google again to verify it is you.

Deletion is immediate. You are signed out and returned to the sign-in screen.

Delete without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email SUPPORT_EMAIL_TBD from the Google account you signed in with and ask for account deletion. We process these requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, profile photo URL and Firebase user ID held in Firebase Authentication.

What is not affected

• Financial data parsed from SMS is stored only on your phone and is never uploaded, so there is nothing of it on our side to delete. Remove it from the phone with Clear all stored data in Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
• Anonymous crash reports and usage statistics are not tied to your account and cannot be traced back to you. They expire automatically under Firebase's retention limits.
